Easy Setup

Whether you call it a pack and play or a play yard, they are wonderful… once you convince them to cooperate! The good news? There’s a trick to it, and once you know it, setup is surprisingly simple.

The golden rule: Keep the center UP until the very end.

Start with the folded play yard standing upright with its feet on the floor. Gently pull the four corners apart, but don’t push the center down yet. Keeping the middle raised allows the side rails to lock into place easily.

1. Lock the short sides.
Pull each short rail firmly upward until you hear or feel it click and lock into place.

2. Lock the long sides.
Next, pull up each long rail until it also clicks and locks.

3. Now push down the center.
Once all four sides are locked, press the center of the play yard firmly down until the floor is flat and secure.

4. Give it a quick check.
Go around all four sides and make sure every rail is fully locked and sturdy.

5. Add the mattress pad.
Place the mattress pad inside, secure it as directed, and you’re all set!

That’s it—play yard conquered. 🌹

Just remember: Sides first. Center last. That one little trick makes all the difference.

To Put away just do the steps in reverse… Center first. Sides last.
